Mount Mary was selected among the organizations chosen at random during a drawing at the annual Heart of Canal Street gala event on Thursday, Dec. Mount Mary University’s Summer Leadership Academy was among the 20 youth-serving organizations randomly selected to receive gifts of $25,000 each as part of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino’s Heart of Canal Street campaign.
